to discuss how to make the school registration process more equitable for families in Boston.

This workshop will explore facilitation in a variety of group interventions. It will provide an introduction to group facilitation skills while applying a social justice lens. Through the use of lecturettes, small group activities and a simulation, we will examine the role of conflict in groups, conflict prevention tools, and conflict management strategies. The training will be faciliated by Leah Wing and Deepika Marya. All are welcome to apply, but please note people who have completed Social Justice Mediation Institute’s five day training at Vital Village will be prioritized in applications.

This community meeting in Roxbury is part of Narratives of Home, an oral history project and devised play about what home means in the midst of gentrification and displacement.
The Theater Offensive
Resident Artists Tatiana Gil and Eddie Maisonet want to bear witness to the stories of community members experiencing the effects of Boston's rapid gentrification process through interviews. In Summer 2020, they will be presenting a brand-new play based off of those interviews.

Mass. Black Expo (MBE)
