Network members' voices are entering new spheres with the formation of our community-driven data work group.

This fall, the data dashboard - Village Vital Signs - took inspiration and direction from network members who engaged with data collection and analysis in a brand new way. Read about the first ever Food Access Data Work Group in  this blogpost or at  this website.

Love Your Block is a program that supports grassroots citizen engagement and leadership in Boston. They award mini-grants ($700-$3,500) to residents who initia te projects to improve public community spaces. Learn more online or at an upcoming grant writing workshop:

1/15: A Celebration of the Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Join Project Step and Madison Park Development Corporation for  an evening of music, reflection and community in which students share their music and attendees  have a discussion about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy and impact.

Attend an evening of delicious food and support local establishments at East Boston's largest charity dining event. 

Join activist, writer, and columnist Shaun King as he discusses tools that can
extend  conversations  about social justice and equality, free and open to the public.
