Supportive Trauma Interventions for Educators (STRIVE) is providing a workshop at the Region 6 EPS Spring Professional Development Day

How Trauma Impacts Young Children’s Attachment, Neurobiology, and Learning (5 EEC training hours)
Some of the youngest members of our society are exposed to or witness traumatic events. Often adults do not know how to respond to young children after these events, leaving children feeling disorganized and lacking the ability to manage their emotions. This training will discuss a general overview of trauma, impacts brain development, attachment theory, and the importance of self-care. Participates will leave the training feeling more confident in their ability to help children with trauma feel successful throughout the school day. *Please note, this training is not a CEU training, you will receive a certificate for 5 EEC training hours*
