Early Education and Care (EEC) providers and administrators are invited to apply for our upcoming STRIVE 2-Day Intensive Workshop for Early Education and Care on November 12-13. STRIVE (Supportive Trauma Interventions for Educators), is a collaborative project between Boston Medical Center’s Child Witness to Violence Project and Vital Village Network that aims to help schools and early education systems of care increase their capacity to identify, respond to, and optimally support the unique needs of young children who have been impacted by trauma exposure.
The STRIVE 2-Day Intensive Workshop includes:
- Trauma overview
- Applied classroom strategies
- Toolkit of sensory materials
- Two follow-up consultations on implementation
- Complimentary open-access webinars on relevant topics
