Family and Medical Leave in 2012: Executive Summary (Abt Associates, 2012)

This four page report from 2012 by ABT Associates Inc. is a summary of their findings from over 2000 interviews conducted about FMLA. They extracted 4-5 main themes (such as “Leave is not uncommon”, to “Unmet need for leave is limited”) from the data and explored them in greater detail. Through the data they concluded that while FMLA has achieved some stability in the two decades it has existed, although more needs to be done.
